Too Heavy To Hold

Woke up to the same old feeling,
Another day, but nothing’s changed.
Try to fight, but I keep falling,
Like I'm drowning in the rain.
Every step feels like a mountain,
Every breath is filled with doubt.
No one sees the weight I'm carrying,
No way in and no way out.
It’s too heavy to hold, too much to bear,
I’m losing my grip, gasping for air.
Screaming for help, but no one knows,
How it feels to walk alone.
Empty smiles and hollow laughter,
Hide the cracks inside my soul.
Tell myself that it gets better,
But the night still feels so cold.
