Painted Sky

You painted my walls with a baby blue sky.  
The clouds never wade, and sun still never shines.  
No one dares say the sky goes grey.  
You painted the night with a soft lullaby.  
No stars on high, no shadows passing by.  
Do you dream if the night stays away?  
I watched the sky fading.  
Drizzle on my cheek, and cold came just to stay
Cupped stars that glowed like shining dawn.  
Drew the light with a sweet lullaby.  
Endless stars shine, and shadows passing by.  
Now I dream when the night will stay
