Light Finds Me

Some days feel longer than the rest  
Like the sun forgot my name  
But I’ve learned  
Even shadows mean there’s light
I’ve walked through quiet streets alone  
Carried the weight of words unspoken  
But somehow, a breeze finds my shoulder  
Like someone still remembers

It slips through the cracks
