Grounded

Sometimes I think I haven't done
Much with my life
Still riding my bmx bike
I've had one since I was seven
Never had much ambition
Still working the same job I've had
Since grade eleven
I feel grounded
Can't seem to find my place in this world
I feel grounded
Too scared to leave this security
A lot of my friends have moved away
To pursue a better life
And some are getting married
I'm still stuck here
Trying to catch my dreams
But maybe things are not
As bad as they seem
