Leav-ing heav'n's throne, down he came To this world, humb-ling Him-self.
He for us ex-am-ple to be; "Fol-low me," is what He said.
Serv-ing o-thers, as did our Lord, This is how we should live.
Mak-ing us love eve - ry one; This is what we pray in our mind.
Our temp-ta-tions all he took On him-self bear-ing the cross.
He for us ex-am-ple to be; "Fol-low me," is what He said.
Sa-cri-fic-ing, as did our Lord, This is how we should live.
Give us vict'-ry in all the trials, This is what we pray in our mind.
