Rather Be Singing Than Thinking

As I walk along the path of chosen life
my eyes grow weary
and my spirit fades from time to time
Although I feel the love
the shining love glowing all around us
my head hangs heavy where I walk
In my early days I gazed upon Thee
gazed upon the ever solid one
but then I turned my heart away
And maybe it’s time
maybe I should embrace
embrace the bright light ahead
and finally stop just talking to myself
