얼마나 부드러운가
한때는 길을 잃고 헤매었지만
난 이제 길을 찾았다네
한때는 눈이 멀었으나
이제 난 볼 수 있다네
마음으로 경외하는 법을
가르쳐 주신 주님의 은총
나의 불안을 잠재우신 주님의 은총
내 앞에 나타난 주님의 은총
그 얼마나 소중한가
난 처음으로 믿음을 가졌다네
수 많은 어려움과
수고와 유혹을 넘어서
우리는 마침내 도착했다네
우리를 이렇게 멀리까지 안전하게
데려다 주신 주님의 은총
그 은총이 우리는 안식처로 인도하리라
우리가 그 안식처에
오래도록 거하면
(우리의 삶은) 태양처럼 밝게 빛나리
주님의 찬가를 들을 날이 멀지 않았다네
그 때 우리의 삶이
다시 시작되는 거라네
