I would say what's the use to pray
cause I did not understand
why I should believe and lean on faith
And my soul
so consumed and filled with doubt
just a slave to sin
I felt no shame
until he brought me out
And I thought I knew that I was whole
I thought I had it all
under all control until
He came in to my heart and my life
Although I tried to fight
I always knew that You were right
now You have changed my life
Thank You for your lovely light
Through it all through affliction
through the pain
You've shown me that your love
remains unshaken still the same
So Lord I come humbly as I am
just a soul in need of restoration
and your unchanging hand
And I thought that I could do
this all alone
I shed some tears to know
that I was wrong
And then you can came into my
heart and into my life
Although I tried to fight
I always knew that You were right
now You have changed my life
