Heart
Breezes
Fate
I am still
The lake
Fisher men pull their nets:
Our mouths are soft stones
Sinking down to rest beneath
The sun.
Build spring,
Iam alright
Soaked in two vines
We used to be the ones who knew
Last summer we lie flat and still
Flipped through magazines
On the beach
We watch the angels strip their clothes
Drop them one by one
From the pier
Splayed with wings and summer salt
Leaving pools of drizzled light
Their song is full of stars
Our hearts are full of ghosts
Some kids with sticks poke at a fish
That swam
It's so for sure.
