*시편10장:1,17~18...
1 여호와여 어찌하여 멀리 서시며 어찌하여 환난 때에 숨으시나이까  Why, O LORD, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
17 여호와여 주는 겸손한 자의 소원을 들으셨사오니 그들의 마음을 준비하시며 귀를 기울여 들으시고  You hear, O LORD, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry,  
 
18 고아와 압제 당하는 자를 위하여 심판하사 세상에 속한 자가 다시는 위협하지 못하게 하시리이다  defending the fatherless and the oppressed, in order that man, who is of the earth, may terrify no more.

1 너희 권능 있는 자들아 영광과 능력을 여호와께 돌리고 돌릴지어다  Ascribe to the LORD, O mighty ones, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength.  
 
2 여호와께 그의 이름에 합당한 영광을 돌리며 거룩한 옷을 입고 여호와께 예배할지어다  Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his Holiness.  
 
3 여호와의 소리가 물 위에 있도다 영광의 하나님이 우렛소리를 내시니 여호와는 많은 물 위에 계시도다  The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.  
 
4 여호와의 소리가 힘 있음이여 여호와의 소리가 위엄차도다
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic.
10 여호와께서 홍수 때에 좌정하셨음이여 여호와께서 영원하도록 왕으로 좌정하시도다  The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD is enthroned as King forever.  
 
11 여호와께서 자기 백성에게 힘을 주심이여 여호와께서 자기 백성에게 평강의 복을 주시리로다  The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.
*시편50장:1~7절...
1 전능하신 이 여호와 하나님께서 말씀하사 해 돋는 데서부터 지는 데까지 세상을 부르셨도다  The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising of the sun to the place where it sets.  
 
2 온전히 아름다운 시온에서 하나님이 빛을 비추셨도다
From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.  
 
3 우리 하나님이 오사 잠잠하지 아니하시니 그 앞에는 삼키는 불이 있고 그 사방에는 광풍이 불리로다  Our God comes and will not be silent; a fire devours before him, and around him a tempest rages.  
 
4 하나님이 자기의 백성을 판결하시려고 위 하늘과 아래 땅에 선포하여  He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that he may judge his people:  
 
5 이르시되 나의 성도들을 내 앞에 모으라 그들은 제사로 나와 언약한 이들이니라 하시도다  "Gather to me my consecrated ones, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice."  
 
6 하늘이 그의 공의를 선포하리니 하나님 그는 심판장이심이로다 (셀라)  And the heavens proclaim his righteousness, for God himself is judge. Selah  
 
7 내 백성아 들을지어다 내가 말하리라 이스라엘아 내가 네게 증언하리라 나는 하나님 곧 네 하나님이로다
"Hear, O my people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God.

15 환난 날에 나를 부르라 내가 너를 건지리니 네가 나를 영화롭게 하리로다  and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me."
23 감사로 제사를 드리는 자가 나를 영화롭게 하나니 그의 행위를 옳게 하는 자에게 내가 하나님의 구원을 보이리라
He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me, and he prepares the way so that I may show him the salvation of God."

5 내가 죄악 중에서 출생하였음이여 어머니가 죄 중에서 나를 잉태하였나이다 Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
10 하나님이여 내 속에 정한 마음을 창조하시고 내 안에 정직한 영을 새롭게 하소서  Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.  
 
11 나를 주 앞에서 쫓아내지 마시며 주의 성령을 내게서 거두지 마소서  Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.  
 
12 주의 구원의 즐거움을 내게 회복시켜 주시고 자원하는 심령을 주사 나를 붙드소서  Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
17 하나님께서 구하시는 제사는 상한 심령이라 하나님이여 상하고 통회하는 마음을 주께서 멸시하지 아니하시리이다
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
