On that hill a centaur stands,
half stallion and half man,
and his hoofs are the hoofs of a stallion,
and his strength, it's the strength of a stallion,
and his pride, the pride of a stallion.
But his tears are the tears of a man.
Over the hill the centaur goes,
round the mountain and back again,
a little too far from the world of dreams,
and just beyond the world of a man.
Once the centaur loved a mare
who rode beside him everywhere,
(They were) racing, chasing cross the fields,
(the) centaur and the wild mare.
But with the racing and chasing done,
they stood silent and silent there.
But the centaur, he had words to say.
(But) the mare had only the soul of a mare.
Over the hill he rode on,
round the mountain and back again,
a little too far from the world of dreams,
and just beyond the world of a man.
Once the centaur loved a girl
who saw his golden aspiration.
(They were) walking, whispering through the woods,
the centaur and the lovely girl.
But with the walking and whispering done,
they stood silent, and then they cried.
For the centaur felt the stirring breeze,
He needed someone who could ride by his side.

쎈토의 사랑
저 언덕위에 쎈토가 서있네
반은 종마, 반은 사람
그의 발굽은 종마의 발굽
그의 힘은 종마의 힘
그의 자부심은 종마의 자부심
다만 눈물만은 인간의 눈물이라네
언덕너머 쎈토가 가고 있네
산을 돌아 다시 오고
꿈의 세계로부터 조금 멀지만
인간 세상 바로 그 너머쯤인 곳
한때 쎈토는 암말을 사랑했다네
어디서나 그의 곁에서 달렸지
쎈토와 그 야생마는 들판을 가로질러
함께 달리고 뒤쫓았다네
하지만 달리고 뒤쫓기가 끝나면
그들은 말없이, 말없이 그 자리에 서있었네
쎈토는 할 말이 많았지만
암말은 다만 암말의 영혼일 뿐이었다네
언덕을 너머 그는 달리고 달렸네
산을 돌아 다시 오고
꿈의 세계로부터 조금 멀지만
인간 세상 바로 그 너머쯤인 곳
한 때 쎈토는 한 소녀를 사랑했다네
그의 황금빛 큰 뜻을 알아준 소녀를
쎈토와 그 사랑스런 소녀는
숲속을 걷고, 속삭였다네
하지만 걷고, 속삭임이 끝났을 땐
그들은 말없이 서 있다가 울었네
살랑거리는 미풍이 불면 쎈토는
그 곁에서 함께 달릴 누군가가 필요했지
언덕 너머로, 산을 오르고 다시 돌아오고
그의 꿈의 세계는 정녕코 다다를 수 없어
여전히 인간 세상 그 너머쯤에
저 언덕위에 쎈토가 서 있네.
